Cancellation policy

At RideFoodie, we understand that plans can change. This policy outlines how and when you can cancel an order and under what conditions a cancellation is accepted.

 

1. Cancelling an Order

You may cancel an order through the RideFoodie app or by contacting customer support within 5 minutes of placing it—provided the restaurant has not yet started preparing your food.

To cancel:

  • Go to Your Orders in the app

  • Select the order and choose Cancel

  • Or contact support at support@ridefoodie.com or via in-app chat

 

2. When Cancellation Is Not Allowed

Cancellations may not be accepted if:

  • The restaurant has already started preparing your order

  • The order is already out for delivery

  • It’s a pre-scheduled order that is within the delivery window

In these cases, the full amount may be charged and refunds are not guaranteed.

 

3. Restaurant-Initiated Cancellations

If a restaurant is unable to fulfill your order due to item unavailability or operational issues, RideFoodie will notify you and offer:

  • A full refund

  • A replacement item (if applicable)

  • The option to reorder from another restaurant

 

4. Driver Cancellations

If a delivery driver is unable to complete your order due to inaccurate delivery details or inability to reach you, the order may be marked as undeliverable. In this case, you may not be eligible for a refund.
